FAQ

1. I do not see my swap application on your website, how do I go about getting parts?

With LS engines being fitted into anything and everything, it is hard for us to cover all applications for testing. Our best recommendation is to contact our sales/tech support for the best fitment. We will typically request photos with then engine installed for the best reference. We can be contacted at sales@ictbillet.com.

2. Where can I find replacement instructions for my bracket set?

All our instructions are listed on our website under a PDF file. Here is a link to our complete instructions list: https://www.ictbillet.com/instructions.html

3. How can I get replacement spacers for my brackets?

We now offer a listing for spacer sizes if you are needing replacements. Here is a link with a drop down of all the spacers we offer: https://www.ictbillet.com/aluminum-spacer.html

4. What will I need to use a low mount alternator with my iron block application?

When adding a low mount alternator to your iron block application, we recommend using our additional mounting bracket for proper structural support of the alternator. (SKU 551921-LS01 https://www.ictbillet.com/iron-block-support-bracket.html) This will still require the block to be drilled and tapped to use both the second and third mounting points for the alternator bracket. The reasoning behind these added mounting points is the iron blocks lack these from the factory. The aluminum blocks will have the bolt locations near the timing cover and outside corner casted and tapped from the factory.

5. What balancer offset is best for my application?

This will depend on what type of clearance you need. For the most clearance between the accessory drive and the cooling fans, we recommend a Corvette balancer offset or what we classify as (-1) spacing. Due to the close fitment of Corvette spacing, you cannot stack accessories in front of the heads. This creates a wide offset for the engine. For the most side to side clearance for narrow engine bays, we recommend Truck or 2010-2015 Camaro balancer spacing (-3). This will allow for accessory fitment in front of the cylinder heads, such as our bracket kits for turbo applications. (Example: SKU 551498LS0WP-3 https://www.ictbillet.com/ls-alternator-power-steering-pump-bracket-kit-for-ls1-water-pump-turnbuckle.html)

6. What belt length should I use for my application?

There are a few options to get you the correct belt length for your application. We can be reached at 316-300-0833 for a length, all we will need is the part numbers of the bracket you are using. Or another option- you can use our belt measurement video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhNa1o7oY04&t=6s
